Wi-Fi Site Survey – Spectrum Analysis, Active/Passive, APOS
Wi-Fi belongs to the microwave electromagnetic spectrum, which is invisible, and it plays an integral role in every sector of the economy as it keeps business operations connected and running. To ensure excellent network performance from day one, Wi-Fi site surveys (Spectrum Analysis, Active/Passive and APOS) are essential for initial creation of Wi-Fi designs and post-deployment validation.
Designing a wireless network, which is one of CNCL’s fortes, is both an art and science due to the need of striking a perfect balance among price, performance and aesthetics. Although it depends on the complexity of the site, typically, after understanding the physical and RF environment and gathering requirements, our experienced Wi-Fi specialists will use professional predictive design software to create an initial Wi-Fi design. Prior to deployment, APOS (AP on Stick) surveys will be conducted to test the actual performance against the predicted coverage and the design will be fine-tuned if required. Once the design has been finalised and deployed, a verification survey is conducted to ensure optimal network performance and project requirements have been achieved.

Support and Maintenance
Traditional IT Support such as the break-fix model is a reactive approach for troubleshooting and rectifying an issue or repairing equipment and replacing parts on an ad-hoc basis. While many organisations have transitioned away from break-fix model to managed services due to the criticality of its IT infrastructure which requires proactive approach to eliminate downtime, there are organisations who prefer the break-fix model. On top of providing technical support, CNCL offers ad-hoc manpower support during peak period when you require an extra pair of hands.
On the other hand, regular maintenance is a preventive approach to ensure that hardware or software resources remain secure, stable and continuously available for business operations. For instance, to prevent vulnerability of network equipment, firmware will be updated during routine maintenance. As maintenance needs vary among organisations depending on its IT infrastructure and skillsets of its in-house IT team, CNCL will build a tailored maintenance plan according to your requirements.

Application Design
Despite the wide availability of commercial off-the-shelf applications that may include API for customisation, some businesses opt to customise applications (desktop and/or mobile) as they require specific unique features and functions, which arise from unique business processes or even innovative technological transformation projects, that are lacking in off-the-shelf applications.
In general, customised application development is seen as expensive and time-consuming as it encompasses several processes such as requirements gathering and analysis, designing, coding and testing, go-live and maintenance. However, long-term technology and business benefits such as increased productivity and efficiency, scalability and lower integration costs are few reasons why businesses are taking the leap to fully personalise applications. Furthermore, through adoption of development methodologies (e.g. Agile and DevOps), leveraging on technologies such as open-source and cloud-based where feasible and decades of project management, CNCL delivers cost-effective applications efficiently. Being customer-centric and equipped with modern technologies experiences, CNCL will also help businesses to evaluate whether it is necessary to develop an application from scratch.

Cloud Migration
Apart from modernising an organisation’s IT infrastructure, another key driver for cloud adoption is the wide implementation of IoT and data analytics where massive volume of data is being collected and stored for processing and analysing.
In order to experience the benefits of cloud computing such as reduction in cost, increased agility and flexibility and improved performance, businesses have to migrate its on-premises databases, applications, services or IT resources either partially, or fully, to a cloud infrastructure. However, as many organisations have adopted multi-cloud strategy, cloud migration could also entail moving from one cloud platform or provider to another.
To ensure successful transition to the cloud, it is vital to develop a cloud migration strategy and plan before the execution. For example, which workload to move to the cloud, risk assessment, budgeting, security, the type of cloud, priorities and sequence, and schedule. Whether you require guidance to develop a strategy and plan or simply to perform the migration, CNCL has both the expertise and experience.

Managed IT Services
To gain competitive edge in the market, an organisation’s IT infrastructure needs to be current, flexible, reliable and secure. However, as an organisation’s IT infrastructure grows to be more critical, complex, diverse and difficult to manage, engaging a dependable Managed Service Provider (MSP) will alleviate your internal IT team from daily operations and better focus on the business core competencies or innovation. As compared to building an in-house IT team (hiring, training, occupied with multiple responsibilities), outsourcing to MSP not only saves cost but also provides higher reliability since MSP are required to deliver according to Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Although CNCL offers an array of managed services, Managed IT Services is fully customisable according to your needs and it will be managed under a mutually agreed SLA. For instance, CNCL can help your organisation to manage one of the most laborious tasks, i.e. network monitoring, so network anomalies can be proactively identified and quickly resolved to minimise network downtime.
